With JERSEYLIPOSUCTION.COM as an example are my picks any good

Hi,

Newbie domainer here, although I have been making a living online with PPC and SEO for over 6 years.

I've recently gained interest in domaining. I've been mining/investigating/brainstorming and have found many good domains. My top 10 I registered.

But many domains I didn't register because even though I liked them, I felt they were not good enough.

The one in the title of this thread is an example. At the time of me posting this, the domain JERSEYLIPOSUCTION.COM is available (if anyone wants it). I know of many such domains that are available.

So, to get to the point, do you experts feel I should make an effort to buy more domains on my list, or would you guys not waste your time with a domain like JERSEYLIPOSUCTION.COM for under $7 (reg fee)

I will be getting an answer if I catch anyone registering it

Welcome to NPs. The short answer is that that one is probably worth regsitering...you'd probably struggle to sell to a reseller (like anyone here), but it might be flipped to an end user in New Jersey and is worth $7-8 to try to do that.

It's also certainly developable, and given your background I bet you could find a way to generate traffic...in fact, because it's not a perfect name ("Jersey" is an abbreviation unlikely to be typed in alone), showing that it has the potential to attract traffic would be great before you try to sell.

My own general rule is that I try to keep my "imperfect but may be flippable" names to under 10 - feeling that $100 per year is worth a gamble on these.
