It may as well stand for Not A Major Extension. Don't bother with it. Buy a name in a better extension, or rethink your keywords. My opinion only.

The only .name TLD that i ever owned was sidekick.name. I was very new to domaining when i purchased it, and just let it expire pretty recently. But if you can get a persons name, hence (peter, joe, bob, mary, megan) etc. Then it might be of some value. But either way most people register their names in .com. www.peterfoti.com www.tylercruz.com www.cameronjohnson.com just to name a few (smiles). I would stay away from the domain as a whole if i were you.

:hi:

.Name was intended for people's names such as John.name or MaryDoe.name.

Generally it's an awful extension if used for regular words. :imho:

However, if you are one of the 23 people or so whose last name IS Name,
it would be a perfect extension.

As suggested above, don't waste your $$ on a .name - even if its a great keyword. They're worthless imo.
