Why Sedo love's dragging out transactions especially close to Fridays?

Many of times I have been in buying transactions with sedo near thursday / friday and all of a sudden they stop responding when all it takes is a quick email to the seller to push the domain. Is this because they love having the funds in their account a few extra days over the weekend? I understand that they may have to deal with a few transactions, however the slow speed only seem's to occur on a thur or friday when they know its nearly weekend.

Think Sedo should have weekend staff on to deal with queries and moving transactions along, nearly every other company on the planet do!

Anyone experience the same problem?

Sedo is a german company and as such their employees enjoy short friday workdays.. same here in Austria, most folks already calling it a day by lunchtime and heading home or to social meetups.
We traditionally see friday afternoons as an extension of our (by law) free weekends..

Not sure though if this also applies to their US site (in Cambridge, MA) which should be able to take over in this case..
but i do agree that Sedo should have weekend staff if they want to be taken seriously still in the next 5 years..

To be honest it is probably impatience on my behalf, however if a transaction is done out side of sedo then it takes 2-3 minutes to pay via paypal and 2-3 minutes for the domain to be pushed. I know escrow is around 1-5 days to complete depending on how the payment is made etc......with it being 2015 Im sure things can be speeded up tho with transactions.

Just a friday moan I guess

I've never liked Sedo closing over the weekend tbh. For a physical store I could understand but it seems archaic for a web-based company of Sedo's size.
