I have a third offer on a name at Sedo made on Friday 11th January, there is a comment by the "buyer".

"The other party has made a comment with this offer, which Sedo is now reviewing and will display within 1 business day. "

I live in Thailand, Sedo go back to work on Monday 14th, I will get a reply on Tuesday 15th - effectively four days to detrmine if buyers comment will affect the potential sale - not good :td:

Sedo is trying to run on banker's hours, or nearly so. Maybe they do not want to pay their employees extra for weekend work. Whatever the reason, since they have so few competitors they can get away with it.

Sedo is a fossil, soon someone is going to find a better way to sell domains and Sedo will have to change.

yea, really wish they would just allow posting a comment with an offer ... would help transactions run much more smoothly

on a side note, i just had sedo re-open a transaction, with my consent, @ a month after they closed it due to non payment. they said that it took longer than expected for the payment to reach them, so they had to close, but then asked if i still wanted to sell ... moral of the story is not every non payment is lost cause.

It transpires that fortunately the comment did not affect the "sale' and we have now agreed on a price, just over $2K for a .in - I am keeping the .co.in version for now. :gl:

However, I still don't think 3/4 days to get an answer in todays tech dominated world is acceptable. :td:
