are you sure that they're not indexed? what does webmaster tools say about your site (warnings, etc)?

does it say "Pages from your site are included in Google's index." and have you submitted a sitemap? it might also help if you told us what your website is.

one of the main issues im having is with hostgator.com - my robots.txt is not readable in my account, the hosting company has done all they can to make it readable in my account, but google still can't read my robots file... is anyone else having this issue with hostgator?

the content is new 9 weeks old!

Robots.txt if there then great. If not there then also it won't block the Google bot.

I am using hostgator and I have 10+ robots.txt files and I see no problem at all. Just now, my sites were down. I saw an maintenance error, hostgator said this will correct in little time. But no other problem I have seen.

Your site is quite new, new sites index and de-index too often.

You have to build backlinks. Secondly, you need to add more content in your site.

Get more links to your website. One of the reasons Google might not index a page is it thinks it's not important enough.

Can you put good content in your website. Content is very important for being indexed.

this issue has nothing to do with SEO

its a server issue, as i stated... HOSTGATOR has a block system

i have transfered all my files to a new hosting company and all robots and sitemap is not redable...

the robots and sitemap files still aren't being found on the new hosting provider? remember to put them in the right folder and check using ftp. also, remember to point your name servers to the new ones and wait for the change to hit the rest of the world.

Add some refreshing content to it and submit sitemaps. Concentrate on link building, then see the difference.

Has Google picked them up yet at the new host or are you still having issues?

FWIW, I host some at HG and have never had a problem...

I have several sites on that plan - I just checked in google webmaster tools - there are no crawl problems with those sites.

I'm not disputing that you had a problem when your sites were hosted there, I'm just saying it's definitely not affecting everyone hosted on that plan.
