question Why is Afternic trying to sell a domain name that I own?

I don't use EstiBot at all, but just fancied having a look at what kinda info they give you when you search for a name.

I decided to search for a domain that I own, and there's a link to Afternic on the results page saying that I could buy the name, which then leads to the Afternic website who are trying to sell it for $8K.

Why do they have this listing?

Yes. Its previous owner's listing.

I usually face this issue "Domain already exist" when submitting 10+ names..

Send a support ticket to afternic.... They will remove old listing!

As the others have said.. Someone else probably still has it listed in their account and never removed it after selling or letting it drop. Just shoot them an email and they'll remove it pretty quickly. I've had this happen numerous times before and they usually get the name removed in less than 24hrs.
