domain Why I acquired NSLR.com ? could you appraisal it ?

Good morning!

Last night I acquired NSLR.com & honestly it was the most expensive 4L.com for me so far, but here's why I did it:

1. Pronounceable; it goes like ' neslar' or 'nisler'.
2. Quad Chip; all 4 letters are Chinese premium.
3. Quad Western; all the 4 letters are Western premium.
4. the .net version was sold for $238 back in 2016 (more than the average 4L.com's nowadays!).
5. estibot at $1,800.
6. GoDaddy apprised it at $3,894.

Correct me if I am wrong. There are only 13x13x13x13 =28,561 4L.com domains that are both Chip & West premium out of about half a million! To be accurate only 6.25% of 4L.com are both Chip & Western premium letters.

I would like to know your takes on it based on these facts.

It's an OK 4L.


Retail you can ask low to mid $xxxx+ around $3k to $6500. Wholesale basically $400 to $600. The best 4L have patterns and this one does not. i.e ABAB, AABB, ABBB, BBBA. Those are the top 1% of 4L (not including actual 4L words.).

Thanks for your feedback. 4L with such patterns are indeed considered in the top of the pyramid, also they are stil underrated, hence still considered affordable. I saw an auction few days back ABBB sold for 2k! This is very underrated imo, not my favorite pattern, tbh ABAB & AABB are my next target.

ABAB, AABB, ABBB and BBBA are the best patterns to own apart from the one worders and they can still be bought for a good price if you look carefully and execute. My favorite is ABAB or ABBB (have one in my sig). Because of scarcity and demand, these type normally sell for $xx,xxx or more retail and wholesale is normally $x,xxx on average.

You're off to a good start. Most people buy the bad ones and have a hard time offloading them for a profit.

That's why I sold 95% of my 'random' 4L.com portfolio long ago & concentrating on the better ones.

What's great about 4L.com is that we are still at the early stages, so that an average guy like me can still get rare & quality domain. If you play your cards right, who knows what the future holds. I have missed the 90's .com & the 2008 bitcoin. I will not let the 4L.com train leave without me lol

How much is UGXX worth in whoalesale and retail? I dropped it by mistake a few years ago when I was going throguh some personal issues and couldn't renew a whole bunch of domains, and I don't even want to think baout it as it included developed websites with 2k a month revenue *cries in stupid*

Now all my domains except the $1 .cos are on auto renew lol

But seeing some excellent analysis, I wanted to ask.

I like NSLR personally though I don't know what the value would be. I always feel a domain is worth as much as someone is willing to pay

I am sorry for the lose, I wouldn't be lying here it's a big lose in money, but hey you are not alone I have made bigger financial mistakes that made me completely broke several times in my life, but I wouldn't learn what I know today if I haven't go that way. It is best to not think about the past & surround yourself with positive people & you will make better deals. There are great deals every single day, it's never over

You are right, evaluating a domain is not easy, but it's always equal to how much someone is willing to pay for it

I started buying LLLLs more than 10 years ago. And somehow I stopped after doing it for a while. I don't know why. I alwsys felt I could never be able to afford those sungle word million dollar domains and I thought it was all there was to domaining that time hahaha. I wish I had collected more domains when I had the chance.

The good news is, prices now are still low, and tbh i feel that 4L.com has alot of room to grow comparied to 3L.com (which is also under valued but still expensive somehow lol). Buy few "good" 4L.com and keep them for a year or two
