Why did none of the .in/.co.in players not

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Why is it that the .in/.co.in players did not

register domainbazaar or namebazaar?

While registering a few more I was quite supprised to see these available. Getting harder but picked up trees, tile, carpet, fireworks ... today.

<edit> looks like I need to qualify. I would think they might be good for marketing the IN domains</edit>

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Because those are two worders, a large number of which can be coined and registered anytime. In a cctld, expect only premium one-word keywords to actually sell, if at all.

of those you listed, "tile" looks great IMHO.
2 worders are much further down the list unless there is something stellar about the combo.

Indeed, I think there are MANY high potential TLD opportunies in the .in (and SLD) space...

That being said, as with any nascent opportunity, it is something that will have to be closely held while the market develops. Sell now, and chances are you will sell at a firesale price...

Just my 2 paisa.

Indeed - right now it's early and many good two word combos are indeed available but at the same time so are many single word domains. The two you listed above IMHO aren't worth much at all now because they are so long. As Allan said, the only good two worders right now are those that are really good...ie: web hosting

Exactly, your names above are good 2 worders...many of those are common phrases that people use... domainbazaar/namebazaar just aren't quite there right now.

FreeCasino.co.in
FreePoker.co.in
FreeGambling.in (+ co.in)

I grabbed a few two word domains, but only because I really like these particular phrases. :)

I was not refering to directly selling these but using one as a site to market the .in/.co.in names.

If I had a large number of good names it would be very tempting -- I don't remember who but someone here is using networking.co.in (I think) for that purpose.

Hi Hark,

If you are talking about www.network.co.in ... that's me :)

I did not reg any specific name to show my portfolio, and I'm quite happy with network.

Concerning two worders : I have www.freegames.co.in (+freegame.co.in), and guess what ... that's the only .co.in name I have developped (I'm still working on it) ! That's the first one, but there will be some more soon ...

I have callcenter(s) too, and I like them very much ;)

Best of luck with your names.

Grégoire.
