Why are domain names not put plainly on these forums?

I was wondering why when people talk about domain names throughout forums, they are not in their regular form such as apple.com

Instead I see a/p/p/l/e.com

Or

apple in the king.

Is there something wrong with just putting apple.com in forums??

Not domain spidering but it's to keep search engines from indexing the domain name in case the poster wants to sell it later or avoid someone searching a search engine and finding it later.

Search engine spiders/bot visit this forum quite regularly and keep a record of certain postings..that how you find stuff basically in search engines..

How can it be bad...one example

Lets say I sold you a domain for $1000.00 .
You are quite happy with your purchase..then you put your domain name into Google and find a Namepros thread with your domain in the title, and found out that I paid $20.00 for it...would you be happy with me and ever buy a domain off of me?
