NPM,
I just looked at a 6-minute YouTube video on how to sell domain names on Flippa. The host, who seemed most-knowledgeable, gave 7 steps for success vis-a-vis selling domain names regardless of preferences.
He opined that the most-important rule in selling domain names is to put “For Sale” on your domain name that appears on the Internet, no matter who the registrar, so anyone looking up the domain name, whether a potential buyer or one just interested in the subject matter, will know the domain name is available.
He implied that one can always add “For Sale”
on a domain name on the Internet—and often is able to add at least some contact details:
In fact, can a domain-name owner, at the very least, add “For Sale” to his or her posted-on-the-Internet domain name—and if not able to add at least contact info, clue the Googler to check Whois in case such info is public.
Thanks for your time!
