We all know that exact keyword match domains or generic domains can help in SEO.
I'm looking to buy a 2 words generic domain for that reason. It's not a brandable domain since it's made from 2 common words like "digitalradios" for example.
The .net is evaluated at $4,000 while the .com is evaluated at $275,000! Google often says that they don't care if the domain is a .com or .net so the SEO boost for exact keyword match should be equal for both versions.
So is the huge price difference only caused by the fact that the .com receives direct type in traffic and also by the fact that .com is more respected than .net? I mean I understand that .com should be evaluated higher than .net but I can't see why there would be that much of a difference...
