Of course everything really depends on how good your domain is, the article mainly refers to the top domains in each category, ie category killers, which most of us don't (yet :D) own.

Of course everything really depends on how good your domain is, the article mainly refers to the top domains in each category, ie category killers, which most of us don't (yet :D) own.
Perhaps many domainers do not have this perspective - but if you actually worked in the accounting / finance department of different companies (as I do on a consulting basis) and saw how much companies spend on all kinds of operating expenditures you would realize that companies have far greater resources to spend on domains than they normally budget for. Quite often companies go for reg-fee domains rather than paying for aftermarket domains and when contacted about a better domain will either not respond or merely say we already have a domain name.
