Whois privacy on domain name for sale?

Hello, everyone. Please I need helpful opinions on Whois privacy on a domain bought primarily for resale. Is it advisable to have the privacy protected and put contact info on the landing page instead for interested buyers?

The reason I'm interested in opinions on this is that I have noticed that the original owner's contact info is propagated online and may remain so even after they no longer have a domain name in their custody. I have experienced this with some names I used to own - I continued to receive unsolicited emails long after. Any suggestion?

Yes, who is privacy is good, if you are planning to hold the domain for a long time.
Instead of putting up a contact info in the landing page. you could create a contact us page or you can request the buyers contact info..

There maybe some kind of contradiction. Of course it's better not to reveal your private data, including email, publicly. From another hand, showing your data is a sign of legit business.Not showing your data may be a sign of something shady for some people.

Solution? Register a LLC or whatever and reg your domains on it.
