Backordering question

I'm thinking about backordering a domain but I'm unsure of something. Is it possible to back order a domain that's on a private DNS? For example microsoft have their own, is it possible to backorder?

DNS has nothing to do with backordering process. As soon as the name dropes, DNS info will be removed.

So corporations can't have a better chance by having their own DNS? I was worried that if the domain is not served on public servers like Register.com, you can't back order it. Also any suggestions to a Backordering company? I don't want one that puts it up on auction. Thanks!

Hi,

A backorder will only work if the domain you backordered drops.
