    Just sold BullionBlocks.com for $8,000.

    26,600% Profit!

    Beat that S&P! and NASDAQ!

Registered 2016-12-09 less than 4 years.

    3 years of renewals = $30

I still have similar domains that this company might need. PM me if interested.

The company is BullionBlock which makes sense them buying BullionBlocks.com.

    They are a cryptocurrency company.

They do not own BullionBlock.com. I'll assume the owner of that domain is in for a nice payday someday. Congrats to them.

The term "Bullion Block" has been around since before cryptocurrency.

Offer began at $500 then $3,000 and finally $8,000.

My asking was $10,000. I think the final sold price was a fair price given the comps.

Could I have gotten more? Give your answer in the comments.

    What does this sale mean?

With all my sales like below. It indicates that I own domains people want and will pay good money for (above $1000) So...............logic dictates that if I have domains people are willing to pay ABOVE $1,000 then surely at my upcoming auctions a bid of $5 to $69 to $99 or even $250 is a GOOD IDEA.

    CoinMena.com $25,000
    PaladineDrones.com $8,000
    WhoaTime.com $5,000
FleetBeacon.com $800 (Could have gotten way more. I was an idiot. FleetBeacons.com I still own. want it?)
    360Sand.com $8,000

I have a ton of exact match domain names like below. (Domains modified for good reason)

    Iotanium.com
    TapBio.com

Yes, nice sale and good price in my opinion, especially being slightly different than their brand.

Thanks. To be honest. I always worry when I negotiate. I've experienced buyers simply disappearing from me if I ask for too much. I'd modified my pricing ever since but still. "going for gold" is too tempting.

if you want to sell domains you have to be realistic. Money now is money now. Money tomorrow is never promised.

Since you are using this sale to promote your marketplace, are you able to provide proof of the sale?
    The domain seems still available.

The domain was just transferred. The buyer has yet to change the nameservers. Give it time. I'll add a screenshot of the Escrow transaction later. Busy right now.

And I wouldn't lie. Especially when Namepros are full people like you who fact check. Lol:xf.wink:

I'm binge watching "The Boys" right now.

Congrats! That's a great one, great (business) backstory, & certainly encourages the rest of us.

Please - those new - don't rush out and get bullion names in hopes of recreating. Note; Whoa mentions the reasoning & planning that started several years ago - to get to this awesome sale. I can read the excitement in the post & worry it will be thought of as a buy signal. Sorry for going off track.

    Thanks!

Lol AGREED! @BrandPlease Domaining is a cautionary tale!

    Lightning hardly ever strikes twice!

But let's see how much they pay for BullionBlock.com ? Maybe 5 bullions? Lol

But I have to say. There are plenty of "bullion" and "block" domain sales.

So yes. Agreed. Don't let the sale of BullionBlocks.com trigger a run on "bullion" domains.

Let the fact that there have been a plethora of "bullion" and "block" domain sales.

Not only that but that there are 3,016 domains registered containing keyword "bullion" and 78,558 domains registered containing keyword "block".

So why not look into it?
    I still own.

As mentioned earlier BullionBlock seems to be targeting and as a result securing domains for the Asian and European Markets.

Given this strategy they have missed a few. here's a hint.

1.As far as crypto is concerned which country in the whole world has full embraced cryptocurrencies?
    2. What is the European equivalent of ASEAN?

if you figure it out. we'll talk soon.:xf.wink::xf.grin:

    Congrats @WhoaDomain.com !

And thanks for sharing the story.

The ROI part is misleading though, as calculating ROI per domain is not correct, unless that is all you had.

ROI is the portfolio-wide exercise. How many names did you have to hold and invest in, and how much you are selling in a year are the factors needed for calculation...
