I have to say, though, it's kind of clashing with my Yellow Submarine avatar...

Hey Rick is www.ricklatona.com DOWN??? Its not loading for me.

Despite how ugly this may look its a brilliant marketing strategy, "attention grabing" and repetition of RickLatona.com everywhere surely make an unforgettable impression. This is kind of like co-branding or something?

Rick, your a legend. Good luck with everything

I finally have a solution for this God awful advertising message we are being subjected to here at NamePros.com.

Check-out NamePros.mobi

The colors are black amd white and the sire is fully functional (as always).

I knew I loved .mobi for some reason.

This is cool ;)
At first I thought at the office WHAT? the site has been hacked :D
Then I cleared my eyes from the funky colours and went to his site to sign up.
Good luck and hope we do business soon

uuuuugh..

I know of Rick Latona, and I know he does buy and sell some of the biggest names in the industry....That is fine.

This scheme is ridiculous and stupid. Us "less significant" domainers shouldn't have to stare at this ugly orange MONSTER ADVERTISEMENT while discussing and trading our names...

I know of another DOMAIN NAME FORUM that still looks normal, and I guess that is where I will be for a while. :|

What's the big deal? I'm reading on my "new"
portable Zygo Polyana Model 3 laptop and
everything looks the same as yesterday.
I am still seeing the 6 lines of each post,
45 characters wide. What's this RickLatona
thing everyone is talking about?

If the owners want to allow sponsorship by changing the skin of their long established web site, so were staring at a full page advertisement everytime we click, they have that right... But we DON'T have to like it, we CAN leave.

Like Donny said, everyone has their price... Personally I don't mind paying a membership fee, especially if it means less advertisement like this. Reminds of the eye sore of a sign at the Honda Center in Anaheim.

I hear that map systems like OnStar is going to start offering advertising while they map your destination... I can see it now;

Turn right at Main street and stop in at McDonalds for a juicy Big Mac.... LOL.

The colors suck, just as much as dot Mobi. :)

To minimize the color lameness in Firefox, go to "Tools"-->"Options"-->"Content"-->"Colors..." and uncheck the clickbox that states "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above".

Personally I'd rather put up with some crazy color schemes from time to time and a few ads here and there than to have to pay a membership fee for the sharing of public information. Just as long as the sellout doesn't last forever and doesn't become too over bearing, I'll just tune it out.. lol But that's just me, to each his/her own.
