Who should renew a domain name expiring during a transaction?

I'm selling a domain name on sedo, i got a low but decent bid and i sold it (few weeks before expire date).
Now the buyer still waits to pay.
I few days I should renew the name, and the renewal is not cheap as for .com, I'm staring to think that delay may be on purpose.
The domain is now unlocked and I have the auth code. I'ts ok to give the auth code to Sedo to transfer it?

(btw the renewal in the actual registar isn't that cheap and it's much cheaper to transfer the domain away).

IMHO, it's the buyer's responsibility to do his own "due dilligence", and if you both entered into a contract to sell, than you should give SEDO the code so that the domain can be transferred to the new buyer.

I think that domain will still be in your account for another week until it is finally dropped by your registrar.
