Sold a domain. Should I renew it?

I sold a name at Sedo and the transfer request came from Sedo today 9/24. The name expires 9/28.

I asked Sedo if I should renew it before then, but I was wondering if anyone has experience with this? Will it transfer in time for the buyer to renew it?

I don't know how long the procedure takes at Sedo but I would renew it in case there are any hold-ups.

Yup I had a similar situation. Renew definitely, unless this costs more than you're getting for it!
