i hate darkmode but anthing is better than this new design.

also, the new design really is harder on the eyes.. the borders and especially the fact that you can now barely tell difference between watched threads with new posts vs those without... it is so much harder than before. any chance you can do something about that... or maybe like your darkmode, just offer an option for people to go back to old design?

just curious to ask... i wasn't here in 2004... but what is the logic behind bringing back an ancient design that was to begin with modified once or more since 2004, by the thinkiing process of improving on the previous one(s)... isn't it logical to assume that if you once had a 2004 design... then modified it in following years, then you did so as part of an imrpovement process? if so, then why go back now to something which by logic and default is necessarily just inferior? in this case its inferior not only by logic but also not improvement by general public opinion.

i mean why not just consult people before. or is this still all negotiable? or will you just force it on people who clearly vote against it? if this is here to stay, then who here takes decision to force on people designs that most do not like?

I was hoping it would go back to the other day, where there wasnt 1/2 my screen real estate wasted, more scrolling, etc but seems we're still stuck with this. Dont like it. Yuck!

At least give us a choice like we had prior to this change. No matter which style is chosen on the bottom left, it defaults to this one. Thats not cool.
