Oh wow, interesting what you can find when digging around here and click on the right link. There is a video chat archive here. I guess NP had a video chat room back in the day? Looks like some of it was recorded. Some got a bit crazy late at night. I'm saving them in case they get deleted.

I was hoping it would go back to the other day, where there wasnt 1/2 my screen real estate wasted, more scrolling, etc but seems we're still stuck with this. Dont like it. Yuck!
At least give us a choice like we had prior to this change. No matter which style is chosen on the bottom left, it defaults to this one. Thats not cool.

I so agree. Don’t even want to come here because its headache inducing. Not sure why there isn’t a choice of themes so everyone can pick what they want.

i dont like it.. and frankly i dont even get it why people call it new look if its an old look restored?
or for that matter, what is the purpose of restoring an old look, which was once replaced witrh other(s) as part of evolution and progress.... then going basck to now would make it a devolution no?
for gods sake I gotta stare at my screen for like 2 mins now just to see which watched threads have new messages and which do not... this is ridiculous! who designed this abomination?

so I hope np directors aren't like kim jong un where they force or impose on members a design that most do not approve of.
I mean if you wont list to your members majority view, then there is a serious problem with what you think your job of directing this place is.

There used to be. I had chosen the theme that fit the with of my monitor. I have a 27" monitor and now I am looking at this narrow strip that looks like my cell phone with 5 inches of gray on both sides. Basically, out of 23.5" of left to right screen real estate, 10" (or 42.5%) of my screen is dead area now, its horrendous.
Just give us back the ability to choose is all we're asking!
Just when we find ourselves more time to be here, this is driving some of us away.
