Hello NP'ers

Who is voting or going to vote for Ron Paul in your primary?

Pauls appeal rings true in the hearts and minds of many in the domain name community. His sound monetary policy fundamentals are clearly the best of any candidate and many are waking up although you may never see him some of the mainstream.

A pundit on CNBC demeaned and mocked Dr. Paul on a live broadcast as his only mention during a program based nearly exclusively on election coverage. Jim Cramer who has is show immediately afterwards is a Ron Paul fan and agrees with his stance on monetary policy. If Ron Paul is president, all forums will have to back their currencies with gold or silver RJ! But in all seriousness, the US must restore sound monetary policy, stop occupying over 130 countries worldwide.

The US economy is struggling largely in part because of its fiat money system where a collection of banks create an unknown amount of money out of thin air and do not report it to anyone.

This is a recipe for disaster and those with a keen eye will be amazed at how the mainstream media treats him. Jim Cramer agress with Ron Paul on the economy and though had not clearly given Dr. No an endorsement, it is clear he likes him.

For those of you who happen to be registered Republican get out and vote for the best presidential candidate we've had in generations.

Which fellow NP'ers have casted or will cast their vote for Dr. No?

In other Ron Paul news. RonPaul.com sold for 25k last week on ebay and it forwards to the campaign site now! :hehe:

I didn't get registered for our primaries in time, but if I did, I would have voted for him.

Although RJ is not running for president, I imagine he is in line with a sound monetary policy such as what Ron Paul has planned. Despite NPs fiat money system lol :hehe: :hehe:

Ron Paul Speaks the Truth to Bernanke

Here is a great video of Ron Paul explaining the reality of the economy to Fed chairman Ben Bernanke who doesn't seem to know any more or less about economics than John McCain.

I voted for Ron Paul and voted no on most of the amendments in line with Ron Paul's conservative voting record.

Now wait a sec....I sorta remember NP dollars created from posting..perhaps the NP economy is not entirely fiat? :td:

I haven't heard his name mentioned in the mainstream media for almost two weeks. If I didn't know better I would have to presume he dropped out - which it seems the media wants most to believe.

He needs to make a run as an independent. He has taken on new staff and they claim that's where they will push him.

The MSM and our election system is all rigged. So sad.

Still you should vote for him in etab, but as Lenin said " It isn't who votes that counts, it is who counts the votes."

Thanks for the clarification Ed! I feel silly for making such a mistake.

For all we know, Dr. Paul has been doing much better than we have been told.

To think that CNN and Fox News didn't even acknowledge his second place finish in Nevada - they simply showed Romney 1st, and McCain 2nd when McCain really finished 3rd by a point!

Unbelievable that the sources the people trust to report unbiased information purposely ignore Ron Paul - too afraid that if every American knows about his consistent voting record, anti-war message that there is not chance for the CFR choices of Obama, McCain and Clinton.

Oh and is it just me or did anyone else lose a lot of respect for Stephen Colbert when they saw him bring Mike Huckabee to his show repeatedly and endorse him over and over and over again.

Stephen, Stephen, Stephen....

Is it true that Paul is against capital punishment?

If so, my sympathies for him grow drastically, despite him being republican. I am very strongly against the death penalty (I am even a member of a European abolitionist group campaigning for global abolition of the DP) so to me this is a very sensitive issue.

The reason why amongst democrates (my normal choice as I am left winged) I would prefer Obama rather than Clinton, is because Obama seems to be more moderate on capital punishment while it is known that Bill and Hillary support the death penalty. Reason enough for me to prefer Obama (along with a few other reasons where he seems more capable than Clinton)

Is it true that Ron Paul is against the death penalty? An American friend of mine told so. I usually don't like right-wing and Republican, but if he really would want to make a difference in helping to abolish the DP, then I would not mind him doing well in the elections. I think if the US would abolish or strongly restrict the DP, it would encourage other retentionist countries to do the same. Luckily we in Europe are completely free of the death penalty (apart from Belaruse, but all other European countries have fully abolished).

Changed opinion to anti-death penalty due to many mistakes

Q: Is the death penalty is carried out justly?

A: Over the years, I've held pretty rigid all my beliefs, but I've changed my opinion about the death penalty. For federal purposes, I no longer believe in the death penalty. I believe it has been issued unjustly. If you're rich, you get away with it; if you're poor & you're from the inner city, you're more likely to be prosecuted & convicted. Today, with DNA evidence, there have been too many mistakes. So I am now opposed to the federal death penalty.

I know this is slightly off-topic but I am against death penalty in any form or any case. Even for the worst criminals in human history, I still consider it inhumane and barbaric. Which is why I am into an abolitionist campaign group. I hope to see a global abolition of the death penalty in my lifetime and one of the few things that make me proud of the EU is that every single European Union country completely banned the death penalty.

I am passed the stage that I disregarded the US because of the death penalty though, I have nothing against the US. I just have something against the death penalty. So if I were American, I would always vote for the one candidate that openly is against the death penalty.
