Who Is info

I am just curious if there is any other place to get whois info? I have tried through whois.com and I keep getting an error(Runtime Error). And I have used the whois here at NP. I just want to make sure and compare.

The story is, I had bought a domain(Jan 2006), developed it and sold it 2 months later(April 2006). The domain/site was transferred to the new owner and the current whois(by the NP whois - is at Enom as of now). But the domain was reg at Ipower and now Ipower is trying to bill me for a domain that isnt even in my CP. And yes I just sent a email. And I will follow up with a phone call in a few minutes.

I just want to make sure if there is anything else out there for a whois check besides whois.com and the whois here at NP.

Edit: Just got an email from Ipower saying they are looking into the matter. But either way, still would like to know about anyother Whois check tool.

Thanks for the link. But it is only for .info extensions. I need an all purpose whois. The extension on the domain I had was a .com.

for example,

etc.

ipower is a very common company to get complaints around here; use the "search" function above.
