Who has the best LLLL.com portfolio?

I was wondering who everyone thinks has the best portfolio.

This is the info that I feel will best allow us to evaluate the quality of our portfolios. It is all good having 10000 rubbish LLLL.com, but personally Id prefer 100 good names.

If 100 "less interesting" LLLL.com could be sold for 2,000 USD now and could be sold for 10,000 USD in the next year, while 10 great names could be sold for 2,000 USD now and could be sold for 8,000 USD in the next year, I prefer to 100 "less interesting" LLLL.coms :hehe:

Yes if that were the case fair enough, but the less interesting LLLL.com sell for $40-100 a piece. 100*100=$10000. On the over hand quad premiums/pronouncables easily fetch $600-$1000 each. $1000*10=$10000. Difference is the less interestings have $700 reg fee, whereas the quads have a $70 reg fee. Also it is easier to sell a quad premium at$1k, than it is to sell a 'less interesting' for $100 IMO

Really depends there.. Triple premium + U or W are extremely easy to resell at $100+ . Triple premium + Y often reaches $100+ with 3 strong letters. Very few quad premiums (not VCVC/CVCV) are easy to resell at $1000+ and you'd have a much easier time reselling most bad letter LLLL.coms for $100 (I've done that several times already) than reselling a quad premium (not VCVC/CVCV) for $1000+ to them.

Quad premiums (not VCVC/CVCV) rarely fetch $600+ ... The average might be close to that, but then again, the average triple premium is probably over $100 too if we don't take out all the sales that skew data... Median quad premium prices (again, not VCVC/CVCV) is in the 300s.

Someone Rob, also has about 30 quad premiums between letters OB - RM.

Should I add that my scanner did not work well, beause of no proxies and about 30% of the results were not shown?

And I scanned only a very small part of premium LLLL's. A very very small one (LLLL's starting with letters O, P and almost all R).

To ease your works, with these starting letters Steve has 581 premium LLLL's, Thomas 150. Though in other lists I saw that Thomas has more domains like Steve. DEpends on letters.

A guy Rob had about 100 premium LLLL's in this small list, BuyDomains 77, Ireit 24, ModernSecurity about 60, HogAdvertising 22, NameGiant and Nokta both 20, Names9 about 35 premium LLLL's starting with either o, p or r (r scan is not completed).

So, I think voting is plain ... senseless ... facts matter. We are talking about $xx quad premiums etc, and just ignore that the world is much much bigger than we on namepros.

And I am clueless on why to vote. It would be absurd to vote on some facts. I have a list of about 30k quad premium LLLL's. And many emails are similar. There are at least 5 players who each hold more than 500 of these.

Can we compare to this? No. What would be the purpose of such a voting? Nothing, first because it is not based on some solid facts, but just on impressions.

Second, it would just be a competition (for some) to showcase how smart they are.

When I make a post, I try to base it as much as possible on facts. Believe me, compared to the big domainer world, most of all are small time players. Including me who has some nice LLLL's.

And realistically in a top ten of LLLL.com holders, apart of 3par maybe only Reece would make it, and another NP member, but who (I suppose) wants to remain silent.
