Which SEO option should I choose?

I am debating between several different SEO methods, which one would you choose. Currently I am PR3, coming up on page 1 of google for 2 or my 5 main keywords.

1.) Hire an SEO company for $1400 for 5 months of on page and off page SEO.

2.) Launch a Press Release via Prnewswire ($688), I have already launched releases on PRweb and PRleap. Prnewswire is considered the industry leader

3.) Continue with current SEO guy who posts 2 articles in 750 directories, 250 social bookmarks, 250 blog posts (These are all low PR sites) for $200

4.) Do my own SEO via article marketing on articlebase, goarticles, ezine articles and continue posting on industry forums (which is tough since moderators are not allowing URL), and issue low cost press releases on PRweb PRleap?

Which would you choose?

P.S. My keywords are all related to "coupons"

I would exclude 1. and combine the latter three.

I Suggest option number 4 since you claim your self as an SEO guru, I'm sure you will rank your keywords

I personally suggest that you hire few writers who can write some excellent content for you. Adding useful content in your site will help you much more than the articles that you post at article directories.

People finding your content useful will link to you for free.

I personally choose number 4, I like doing my own seo, and the end you have to pay for some services but i wont ever pay that amount of money to a company that can get there but no forever

I would prefer combining 2 and 3 and monitoring all the activities by doing self-SEO.

Of course the best solution is to hire a professional SEO team. Otherwise, stay with the current SEO guy for $200. So that my recommendation 1 or 3.

if you go with a professional seo team, make sure they know what they're doing in terms of validation. you can check if some businesses actually know their stuff based on whether their site is actually validated.
