Which is better...

SELLNOUNS.COM
NOUNSALES.COM

Where NOUN is a Noun. Any other suggestions? If .com is taken, then please rank .net/.org/.biz/.us/.tv/.co, or any others. It's obviously for a website for selling nouns.

would that .tv be better than a .pro ?

So what are my conclusions? "Sell Domains" has 1.6M exact searches in Google. "Domain Sales" has 2.05M exact searches in Google, but most of the first page is full of historical sales data, like DNJournal and NameBio. So I think "Sell Domains" beats out "Domain Sales" as the best descriptive domain for selling domains. But agree it's a close thing. Having said that, the only "Sell Domains" domain I own is the .tv. Whilst I agree this is not the perfect TLD to use for selling domains, I think it's the best alternative I have.

I feel the when a searcher types "sell domains" they are looking to sell their own domains. Perfect if you want to get solicitations and be a broker.
When they type "domain sales" they are either looking for sales data or looking to buy. IMO, it is better for an aftermarket / reseller.

I can't really answer that question. Maybe, maybe not. I don't particularly like either. I was looking through my other names I have. I have SellDomainsCo.com, SellDomainsShop.com, SellDomainsStore.com, MyNameSales.com, NameSalesCo.com and DNSalesCo.com.Maybe these are better than all of the above.

If you read the above analysis, I own no domains in the "DomainSales/Store/Shop categories. It's really a hobsons choice when the asking prices for those coms are so high. Of course the domains with Domain in them are more desirable than any Domain synonym.

I respect your thoughts on "DomainSales" but I respectfully disagree (only marginally) when almost everything in page 1 is to do with historical data. Yes I think "SellDomains" is about Selling your Domains. That is exactly what a buyer should be looking for. They should not be looking for somebody looking to Buy Domains. I have always thought BuyDomains.com got it the wrong way around. Looking for somebody to sell them domains.

SellNoun makes sense if you will allow users as well to sell the "noun"
NounSales makes sense if only you are going to sell the "noun"
If you are going to create a domain sale website drop/sell all those alternatives you own and buy something decent like "domainsales.com/net/org" (forget .tv, .us) or "domain(s)" in any TLD

The problem with that strategy is none of the three domains you mention are actively for sale. I emailed the address in the whois for all three. The .com email bounced. The .net email is under privacy, so I don't expect any reply. The .org email hasn't any problems, yet. But if I got a response from any of them. I'm expecting anything up to $1.8M for the com (a price I was quoted for a far inferior .com) to $0.3M for the .net (a price I was quoted for a far inferior .net), to I don't know what for the .org. You are not being realistic when these domains are probably not for sale.

I will prefer the .com & .net, Sell Nouns is the one that will work best. After checking for available names in this category seems they all been taken or not develop.

Well, it is not realistic because of the case the noun is "domain(s)"
Try the other alternative I mentioned.

Stub, "SALE DOMAINS" make sense? I have SaleDomains.net

OK. I emailed the .com/.net/.org for SellDomains. I'm expecting the same kind of response. So where does that leave us?

Stub, "SALE DOMAINS" make sense? I have SaleDomains.net

But the question is, how much do you want for the .net?

What do you expect in 2014? You asked for the better one.

There you got a easy catch domain.
I do have domains.yt and domains.sc if you are interested.

I think I'm going to go with one of my .com domains or a brandable. There is nothing really appealing to me about the other extensions. The amount of work needed on SEO etc will be the same on a lower TLD with exact match keywords as it would be on a not exact match keywords .com. I probably have a lot of other keyword domains without using the keyword sales/sell in them I could use. The prices sellers were asking for these domains were just phenomenal.

As I said. I'm going with one of my .com domains. No I don't think your price was too high for the .net
