Which extension would you choose?

If you were about to create a website, and you could choose a domain name with one of the following extensions, which one would you choose?

keyword.MOBI
keyword.ASIA
keyword.NAME

Out of the ones listed in the original post, I would go with .biz.

Stay away from mobi, unless you're specifically targeting / designing for the mobile web.

I've only developed a few sites but I've seen more than one BIZ in the top 20 of Google. I'm sure the strength of your keyword is going to make a huge difference but I've scanned the top 200 for a number of keywords and have found COM, NET, INFO, BIZ and ORG.

Check with WirelessDoorbell.BIZ. I've seen him on page one a few times.

To be honest, I've build many websites in the past with :

keyword.MOBI
keyword.ASIA
keyword.NAME
keyword.WS
keyword.EU
keyword.NET
keyword.TV
keyword.ORG
keyword.US
YOU NAME IT.

And none was really successful, so some were drop and others flip.
A real sucessful business will always be DOT COM
try to brainstorm the keyword that fit your business if no keyword available in .com you want.

Now I have all my websites in .com it's painless for SEO and marketing and success ranking.

Dot Asia is new. What did you build with Dot Asia exactly.
Because if you actually had a hot name, one that was contested with many other people from the landrush or great keywords. Share it to prove that you built something in Dot Asia.

Don't tell me you built a parking page like the $3,000 a day people say. which they have probably make $3,000 a day from their whole portfolio. Parking doesn't pay, and it doesn't offer contents. Just some google referal. Which is why it must have failed.

Depends on the site!

If it is in the EU and developed for an eu crowd. Dot EU will do fine! Lots of companys in the eu has that extension. Im not saying its a good extension, especially not for domain flipping, but its OK.

Depends on a lot of factors..the domain name, the kind of information it shall host, the target audience...

If I were you, I'd probably brainstorm for an available word in .com related to the website I'd be making...because at the end of the day, I'm developing the domain name & not buying it for parking/selling..besides, nothing exceeds a .com

From the mentioned list ~ .BIZ seems to be much popular among the rest
