Slightly OT/which domain name would you choose

A friend is registering a domain name for personal use.

For argument's sake, she's deciding between: "cathy.us" and "cathynet.com".

Which one would you choose? Again this is a personal web site and so she is not thinking about resale or value. She wants something that is easier to remember for visitors.

I agree, for personal use I would go with the cathy.us It looks better. No real need for a .com (commercial) in this situation.
