Which escrow can we use, or not use?

I find that in this forum, many people sell and buy domain in marketplace, such as auctions.
I wander that if they really exchange only via paypal, and not use escrow? Is it safe?

It depends on mutual trust.

In my opinion there is no requirement of escrow if amount is smaller like $100 or $200 but if buyer want escrow then seller should respect his request.

I sold 2 domains with escrow. First one with Monbux (trusted forum member n bitcoin talk) and another one is Escrow.com although escrow fee was paid by buyer in second case it took $40 to send me amount through wire transfer and in first case I paid fees and it was $4. In both cases buyer wanted escrow.


BTW if you want to trade with anyone on Namepros on any other forum do check Trade Reviews section of other parties profile.

On marketplaces like flippa they render free escrow service but still it is optional. As far as both parties are comfortable with the deal there is no need of escrow in my opinion.

I sell via PayPal only via these forums. If a stranger emails me out of the blue, then I always sell via an escrow service, usually Escrow.com. All sales over $500 go thru an escrow service. Anything below $500 is at my discretion. Meaning that I should know the buyer and have traded with them before. Then I might accept PayPal for under $500 transactions.
