Which domain registrar is good?

Before i joing Namepros.

i was not involved in domain field.. but now i hear.. got info of main domains registrar companies..

godaddy.. namecheap.. regisersite.. domainsite.. enom.. etc..

but which is most trustworhy site.. i just want to know which domain registrar you trust most.

do u give first preference to price. or service?

i like namecheap also because i use paypal, even thoguh it is a bit more expensive that registerfly, registerfly is far too slolw loading

I used godaddy,domainsite,namecheap,regfly
hmmm no bad at all coz i never ask support from them . I asked in namepros with so many advance here i think they are people here better than them Hahahaha

I just purchased a name that required GD PUSH.
What a long process.
With RegFly...push is instant.
I am going to have to really want a name to buy a name with a GD push again...
Just my humble opinion.

Do you guys realize that you can use your Paypal account anywhere? When you log into your Paypal account and are at your Overview page, go to the bottom and click "shops" in the footer links. On the right-hand side there is a link that says "Shop Anywhere" - click that - You'll see an option to pick a store, or enter your own. Enter the link of the registrar (or anywhere else that you want to make a purchase) - when you do this, a small pop-up window will appear at the bottom of your screen. This window contains a virtual credit card number and expiration date that is tied to your Paypal account - you can then proceed to use your paypal account like a credit card. Easy as pie, and it works great!

Thats some great information! just wondering if it's a "virtual one use number" as discover card,mbna,citi etc has? That would be great to use for the "free" infos at namesecure that require a cc ..

This is not for a "one time use" - It is available to you for the lifetime of your account.

This is right from paypal's site:

The PayPal Debit Bar is available to users who:
Have a Domestic PayPal account
Are Verified (have added and confirmed a bank account)
Have added a credit card whose monthly statement is sent to a physical street address (not a P.O. Box)
Have a positive balance in their PayPal account
Have a PayPal account in good standing (as determined by the Account Review Department)

It is absolutely free to use the PayPal Debit Bar.

Are there any spending limits associated with my PayPal Debit Bar?
You may spend up to $150.00 USD per day (as long as the funds are available in your PayPal account balance) with your PayPal Debit Bar.

Hi Jennifer,
Just tried it, only problem is they don't give you a 3 digit "card ID" (the numbers on the back of a cc or debit card) which most merchants require
the transaction failed.. I tried 000 but that didn't work . Any info on this??

I've never actually run into this problem because at GoDaddy, they give you a box to check if there is no number or you are not able to read the number. The only thing I could find at Paypals website regarding this is that the virtual number can be used anywhere "MasterCard" is accepted. Check to see if the place you are using accepts that card.

I tried it namesecure.com... my paypal has a .01 pending charge(free info) but namesecure didn't accept the transaction or reg the name...those 3 digits are REQUIRED at least there..I have a paypal business account w/card anyway so it really doesn't make a difference to me but just for others

DomainsAreFree currently doesn't let you transfer your domains to a different registrar.
