Which country domain is the cheapest?

I remember for a while .cl domains were even free, but then there was too much demand and he government of that country made them paid again, even more expensive than .com IIRC

So which are the cheapest right now?

Check a random domain on 101domain.com by continent, and you will find all the prices.

I think free domain is not good for long term campaign because there maybe some service which are restricted.

Even if it's not the best registrar (euphemism), GoDaddy makes some nice coupon campaigns which allow you to register a .COM as low as $1.99 or less sometimes. It's way better than register a cheap country-code domain name.

As sdsinc says, .tk are free. .cn domains are about the cheapest to register, and have a huge audience/customer base.

Godaddy .coms for £0.69 if you log out, clear your cookies and search for 0.69 .com+godaddy.

Also picked up £1.29 .coms recently also - same deal.
