Hi,

Are .eu or .ca domains worth more retail? For example, if you owned food.eu and food.ca, which would be worth more?

Thanks.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I've been trying to get some info about .eu domains myself.
It appears not many people deal with .eu

I'd say it depends on whose buying,
there are restrictions, so it limits the
buyer pool, significantly!

i would say .ca because there are many established and popular sites using that extension...don't know many relying on the .eu

.ca's get much more traffic/type ins than .eu's, making the inherently more valuable based on that factor alone

I'd have to say .ca, since it's a more established market. You should take a look at the list of ccTLD domain sales at DNJournal.

Checking Namebio.com for .ca domains shows a larger average sales price then the .eu - the .eu domains have more overall sales on the other hand.
