Noob question! (BTW, I have searched the forums, but some of the threads were quite dated and others not too focused...)

So far, due to comfort level/prices I have been buying and keeping all of my domains with GoDaddy. This is convenient when listing with AfterNic, Sedo and a few other places, but to get into SnapNames all of the domains must be transferred to Moniker.

My question to the experts is, should I continue with GoDaddy? Should I make all NEW domain purchases with Moniker? Should I transfer existing domains as they approach expiry to Moniker? Basically, where is the best location to store all of domains that allows me to list them at the most effective places/transfer/push easily? I know that it's a personal preference, I am just looking to spark a discussion!

Looking forward to hearing some responses as other newbs could probably learn from this as well!

Thanks,

C

Why just have all your eggs in one basket?

I try to seperate domain names in categories.

For domain names I want to sell within a short time I try to have them in GoDaddy.

For domain names I plan to keep for a long time I try to have them in my own account.

I would have domain names under $1000 in GoDaddy and domain names that have more value in Moniker to list them in Snapnames.

Listing in Sedo doesnt matter where the domain name are.

Good luck

Thank you, testingyou. That makes a lot of sense, I will probably keep doing what I'm doing and as I buy more expensive domains through places like Sedo and SnapNames I will have those pushed/transferred to my Moniker account.

I was probably thinking too far into this!

Thank you and repped.
