Where did the NP "Social Groups" go???

Hey,

I cant find my Social Groups here.

I believe I had the biggest Group for any area (Chicagoland) Domainers, and now I cant find it.

I think I had close to 20 or so members.

Its important to find that group because I really want to put together a Domainer Meeting here in Chicago and I really only remember about 5 members who are here from Chicago.

If the Social Groups are gone now, Is there a way you could find it and give me a list of all the members who were in my group please?

Social groups are gone and I'll let him specify the reasoning etc. I believe it was because of the lack of discussion and/or activity so perhaps it was not a very frequented area of the forum.

Hi vito,

I removed the Social Groups features from the forum for general lack of use. Local domainer groups are a great idea. You could continue to use NamePros to organize a group either though a dedicated thread for Chicagoland domainers or even a dedicated usergroup and private forum.

I will get you a list of members that were in your Social Group.

Update- I added a new forum for local groups so it can be part of the main forum.

Maybe instead of listed under domains it could be listed under the "Community" heading? Seems to fit it a little better.
