The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Evolution and progress means you should not look back and regret for liquidating / dropping a name. You dropped it for a reason and it's not possible your view as a domainer back then to be better than your view now. If the name was good, you wouldn't drop and renew it. Even if you didn't have money, you would find it somehow to renew a really good name.
I have dropped and liquidated hundreds of names, because they were not good names. Period.
By the way, I never never look at my old portfolios, always look in the present and the future.

I wanted to vote for "I should have kept that" and "That's probably worth a lot now", but it only allowed 1 voting option, so I chose "I should have kept that".

Most of the quick flipped 4L.com domains from back in the day (Hundreds over the years), would have been a pretty penny today. Back in 2009 to 2012, they were flying off the shelf for $10 to $25. In 2013 to 2016 they were at $50 a pop. in 2020 the minimum floor value was $80 to $100+ each... fast forward to today and you see similar combinations going for hundreds each (Some in the thousands).

I have no regrets. Even the domains that I have for fun I could not replace now and have only cost me ~$200 each which is drinking money.
