You look back at last year's domain portfolio and realize "wow, they suck."

You look at your old drops and realize "damn, I should have kept that."

You stop hand-registering 10 domains every day.

You stop listing your domains at auctions.

You look through all the drops and only bid on a few.

You bid on your favorite auctions for the day and don't win any.

You stop replying to Wanted posts.

You fill your free time with other activities instead of worrying about your next sale.

Anyone have any others to add? :giggle:

You know you're getting better when you start focusing more on quality than quantity in your domain investments. You begin to assess the market more strategically, avoiding impulse buys and being more selective with auctions. Your portfolio becomes more refined, and you're more patient with your investments. You also find yourself appreciating the long-term value of certain domains, recognizing that not every domain needs to be flipped immediately. Instead, you’re taking a more thoughtful, strategic approach to building your portfolio

You can tell a lot about a domainer's portfolio by their pubic hair :xf.laugh:

Focusing more on quality than quantity has been my main one of late, and pushing myself to drop to sub par domains.

It's certainly a slow process, taken almost 4 years so far!
After reading all the above points I can say I'm definitely getting there.

They are at least getting regular offers though, if they're domains truly are good.
