When there is a domain that you like and you can't get the .com but you still see value in the domain which do you prefer? I have only bought a couple of domains that were not .com but if it is really hot and you have your choice which one is easier to resell, I know .net is supposed to be 2nd choice but .info seems to sell on Flippa pretty good, .net doesn't seem to have an identity as much as info to me, what are your thoughts?

Thanks

I'd have the .net over the .info every time, if you are a reseller. If you were an end-user, I can think of a few circumstances where I might prefer the .info. For example where you might be only providing information about something. But as a reseller myself, I would only take the .com. everything else is much harder to sell. I'd give both a pass, and find something related in .com. Possibly two words instead of one.

Yes Stub I agree totally, it seems that the only thing that I have had any luck with is .com, I put Glassvideo.net over in the domain appraisal section, I haven't had any luck with it yet

Thanks

Why did you even buy GlassVideo.net?

I was thinking that Google Glass was going to change the perspective of videos to a pov perspective and that watching video from GG would be interesting

:talk:

my real thoughts....

why isn't dot info that hot on other venues?

which means what?

also, just because a name sells, doesn't always mean it sold for a profit.

imo....
