Info, net, us, biz & org??

Beside .com which one is worth more money Info,net,us,biz & org? And what are they use for can you guys give me some examples? Thank you and God bless

Normally, info is for information, .net is for network, .biz is for businesses and .org is for charitable non-profit organisations. With that said, I don't think too many people adhere to these guidelines any longer.

Besides .com, of the others you have mentioned, i think .net and .us are worth more money. .org and .info are still upcoming and will gain more value in few years.

.org Has only limited application because ,despite open registration people still regard as organisation only'

.biz Great For Money-Making or Marketing sites

.info Informational site is what the Internet is all about, Google LOVES Content sites and .info is IDEAL for these.

Value of ALL gTLD's is always based on Need . Therefore Value for any these will depend solely on it's validity of usage and Fitness for the application

for example
.org is always valued higher than a .biz for a Charitable site
.biz will fetch more than .org for a eBOOK marketing site

So it is hard to say a Particular gTLD is worth more than another one.

But all TLD's Have their place.
Spend more time using ALL of them .
Spend less time analysing,Discussing,arguing about which is the supposed BEST to use.

Whatever you do don't just ignore them ,because while .COM may be the most popular, it is not the ONLY choice

info domains were well ranked before the free 2004 giveaway and now somewhat devaluated from my point of view, being better the biz over them.

us domain though good are more regional but from that perspective co.uk domains have more recognition; there is a google.co.uk but not google.us, though typing it you are lead to google.com

talking about devaluated domains ws, marketed as "web site" were doing it great until a multilevel company started to sell them as if they were the ws TLD authority but still easily purchased through many non-MLM registrar services.

dot.name domains were originally launched as personal identity in a third level format. Since more than a year ago as top level generic names which future nobody knows. I have one of those early third level name formats doing it fine.

I don't think info is devaluated during the free giveaway, as the free (and useless) infos are dying and most of them are dead now.

Maybe is just matter of time, while I keep many infos from that promotion and even some others purchased at later time, I feel all those useless dead domains which AmD950 refers to, really hurted the info domain reputation.

As the time goes by I hope you have prophet words MellowMasher, would be great like it was when they were launched years ago but with solid roots this time. %%-

Exactly the Reason you SHOULD be using .INFO's .

after .com i'll go with .net because they are the second highest and then .us

later on .info and i personally dont like the extension .org
