800x600

I find that 1024 makes everything too small and well I'm just used to 800x600.

1280x1024

Heh, i always thought that was normal, specially amoung the artistic group of computer users (graphic artists, 3d designers, website developers). I guess not.

I don't think 1280x1024 is normal. But yea alot of the intense graphic art users probably use a higher resolution then others. :D there is still alot of people that use the old 800X600

screen

Specially for web i am using 1024x768 ...but if i am creating design with more details or something special for print i am using 1600x1200 or 2048x1536... so i can see everything in real mode.

1280x1024 thats what I use, but I will design the site for 800x600, whits is the resolution most of my clients use, by having my resolution I will not get some nasty suprises when I precent a job, what I mean is that if you design in 800x600 you could make mistakes that you cant detect

I find that if i work in 1240x1024 i always find a way for it to work in 800x600 but it still looks good at high-res because i work in high-res. Know what i mean? like, someone could work in 800x600, and it'll work for 1240x1024, but it'll be small, and look like it was designed for small-res only. Atleast in my experiance.

My screen resolution is 1024x768. I can't stand anything less. Images, windows etc. too big if you go under 1024x768

1280x1024 is technically the wrong resolution, because it doesn't follow the same ratio as 800x600 and 1024x768.

I use 1280x960, and I design for 800x600+.

edit: Just realised how old this thread is. :s

1400 x 1050 on this machine. 800 x 600 on my laptop and 1024 x 768 on my desktop. 1024 is usually my preferred resolution on a 20" monitor but sometimes being able to jump up to 1600 x 1200 comes in handy for development purposes.

1152 x 864

I'd be even bigger though if it didn't effect my monitors refresh rate..
