My first, was ScorpionAgency.ws in 2005 and then realized what a mistake that was (Dropped it) and grabbed the .com version, which I still operate today.

mine was first one FlagGpt.com, when chatGpt came, after just few months i registered this guy, but could'd sell it, and it got dropped, and now someone is selling it for $620.

However after that i sold many others and now holding other good one like EspecialAi.com.

But I still feel guilty for dropping my first domain.

FlagGpt is similar to ChatGPT, and EspecialAi is similar to OpenAI, Aegon, you really know how to choose the domain names

Don't remember. The difference was that3-4 years ago you could liquidate very mediocre names and get your money back. Today you cannot liquidate even ok names that could sell for xxx or xxxx.

At the time (not sure how it is now) you didn't own a .ws domain, you rented it and couldn't transfer it out anywhere. I didn't like that.

I recently got into domaining, and the first name I registered was jeeramasala.com. It’s one of my favorite drinks, so I got curious and thought, “Does anyone even own this name?” I checked and to my surprise, it was available, so I grabbed it instantly. Still makes me smile every time I see it.

My first domain was my first and last name back in 2004.

My very first reg was in Jan 1999... epuppy .com. My second reg was epuppies the next day. Sold them both in 2009. The singular has since sold 3 more times and the plural one more time and both remain listed for sale to this day.

Valuable lesson too... not all domains sell to end users. There is money to be made selling to other investors (of course end users are preferred).

It was GOT.IT, for my e-marketing company, March 1997.
At the time, the companies I presented my services to were truly impressed by the possibilities, but at the end of my presentation their question was invariably "excuse me, but what the hell is this "internet'?"
