Ok way back in the day I won two premium MTLD reg's for $XX,xxx, MTLD stuffed me around big time so I received a long awaited refund, I felt I didn't want to give away my money to a company whoc cant even manage small things such as a auction.

I totally forgot about .mobi and the whole situation that was going on with it.

Until the other day I saw advertising for this "my247.mobi" company..

Interesting it got me thinking aggain whats going on with .mobi is it DEAD? alive? still kicking??, now my question is what happened to the domains that .mobi sold to every one and then decided to give out the re funds.

I notice their were more domains in auction from MTLD recently in nov 2008, when will the domains from the shocking "double" auction thing be back up for sale?

I may still buy this one domain I originally won.

There was an agreement worked out between the auction winners and .Mobi. I am not clear of the details (I was not involved), I am surprised you were not contacted. Nobody was obligated to purchase, "comparable" domains were offered to those who were outbid in round 2.

The details are probably on the registry's Mobi blog and are certainly archived on the mobi forum.

Mobi is certainly not dead, although several loud nay-sayers are convinced that it is. There is an active community on the Mobi forum - look it up on Google, I don't think the mods would want me posting a link.

Yeah I know, I received a email form MTLD and told them I don't want the domains.

Yet I was wondering when are the domains that "were not wanted" be back for sale.

You might want to contact the current owner of the domains. No one here will have an answer for you.

MTLD is the current holder of the domains.

They are going slow with auctions these days - only the one SEDO auction since the SEDO III fiasco and a few domains auctioned at domain conferences. Partly it is the economy, partly, no doubt, is burned fingers from SEDO III.

No harm in writing to them or calling - if you have sexy development plans that you can discuss so much the better. They really want to build out the extension.
