This is NOT my site so please don't remove this post, however I have just purchased a few names similar to this one and I was wondering what type of site this is. It does not appear to be adsense, but it is obviously an ad page of some sort. Did this site owner put these ads together manually, or is there some package that does this?

i was wondering if nameadmininc.com/ is better in payout and ppc rates than revenuepilot.com ?
What kind of business is this?
Name Administration Inc. is building the internet equivalent of a television network. High quality generic domain names are our channels. For further information, please visit our About NAI page.

what do you think about that?

yes, it is a ppc but same as a parked page, imo not much difference.

parked page - funnel traffic with intention of selling it
ppc search engine - for type in traffic, for search traffic, click traffic with no intention of selling
much more likely a ppc or combined, but with a different twist.
according to their faq:
Is this domain for sale?
We do not sell domain names. We receive many unsolicited offers each day however our business is building and developing each domain name and website into a relevant microportal. We are constantly improving our network to offer more relevant information and advertising content.
sure they have deep pockets catching all those generic names.
