What is the opinion of folks here on the safest type of email address to use for the whois email addresses? Pop3 or gmail or hotmail or ....???
I know some people say that gmail (and the like) mail can be hacked into easier, but it would seem to me that the servers of smaller hosting companies where your pop3 email address is hosted could be even more vulnerable to attack.
And then there are the stories of gmail (and the like) accounts being closed for no apparent reason and no response from the company while someone tries and tries to get the account open again. But are these situations few and far between?
Opinions?
Horror stories?
