What to add to this site...

Hey,

My own personal site is at www.MattsProjects.net. I want to add more to it, but am not exactly sure what.

Behind the scenes is an array of organizing tools I built myself so I can keep track of stuff, but... on the front end there isn't much to DO on it

I have forums installed, but with errors from a Fantastico installation.

I need advice... I am considering:

- Poll
- Random "Did you know?" thing (different each page)
- MPR (Matt's Projects) Store... maybe in the future if it gets lots of traffic
- Google Search thing using the webmaster API

What else can I add to make the site more interesting? I'll be okay with putting almost anything up except extensive information about me and lots of pictures/movies.

Well, I am working on a priate site of my own at the moment, geared toward the NP community. I don't have any "fresh" ideas for your site, but I do have to say that you've been really creative in creating a slogan.

I also like your header, it's not cluttered, and it really catches the eye.

Good work, and more continued success in the future.

UPDATE:

Forums working, still configuring, but I have the COOLEST ANALOGY for them!

Since this is Matt's Projects, each member is called a "Projecter", or "Projector". The forum itself is the projection screen, the admin (me) is a Power Plug, new members are called Cooling Fans, after more posts they are Junior Projectors, then Senior Projectors, then Overhead Projectors. Moderators then are Heat Sensors (heat = contention, etc.).

And, specially chosen by me, a "Lightbulb" member is one who thinks up great ideas or is a regular contributor.

Cute idea, is it not?

Anyway, more ideas on what to add appreciated.
