What the value for -ing dot com domain ?

How long is a piece of string? Depends on the end-user, depends on the word, depends on the extension and depends on the circumstance. There are no absolutes.

Some are more valuable than others. As a general rule (and this really is a mtter of common sense), the more the word is used in everyday vocabulary then the more valuable the domain is likely to be. Do a Google Keyword or Wordtracker search, compare and contrast results with other results, and try and gauge why some words would be more valuable than others.

it is hard to say about a value of a domain it all depends on the eyes of the one that want it.

Yes, I agree. It differs from case to case.

Asking.com is lot less because there is Ask.com already. So the image of "Asking" is clumsy. Drinking.com was for sale on eBay last year . Seller asking for 35K but then he told me that he received 50K offer. So I backed off the deal. A couple of week ago, I just checked and found that he still own it so I contacted him again. He said he want 100K .

To think about safe investment, buying -ing domain that has just almost the same meaning as the non -ing is very dangerous . Because enduser will prefer the non -ing over -ing if they have not so different meaning such as Think - Thinking or Drink - Drinking . But in some case -ing is better because the meaning of the verb and the -ing are differ. Like Host and Hosting .
