What should I do with these hacks?

I'm a bit of a football fan, and I've recent scored some nice football/geo domain hacks. I have developed them all into simple url shorteners, cause I thought it'd be fun for fans to use something like westh.am when sharing West Ham news links instead of no_url_shorteners or whatever.

But now I'm wondering if I could sell email addresses on these names instead. I thought it'd be nice for business and fans alike, but I'm on the fence or not as to whether it would with a hack. On one hand it could be fun and quirky, on the other it might just be too strange for people to be interested in.

Can I get some feedback from you guys? What do you reckon?

Do you think something like [email protected] is just a little too much for people to get their heads around? Should I stick with the URL shorteners? Should I do both?

I've got tottenh.am, westh.am and fulh.am

Thanks in advance!

I think that football fans will like having an email address that identifies them with their favourite team, it seems like a good idea to me as long as you have the right domain hacks and target football fans belonging to big teams. The domains you mention seem reasonable to me.

I just have some doubts about Fulham because I don't think they are that well known as a team, I would start with Tottenham and West Ham first, they have a considerable amount of members, if you get just 1% of them to get your domain email address the potential business is huge, worth a try.

They have one of the most famous stadiums in the country (for now). They are in the Premier league (for now). They are the OLDEST London team.

Fulham is also a borough - a very well known one (with money).

Not sure the hacks have any worth though they could be kitschy and cute. Most teams have active forums - see if there's any interest there(in a non spammy way).

If you want to develop? Aggregator site would be the way to go.. if there is any interest.

I don't see them valuable as their geos.

I've shared the Fulham URL shortener on a Fulham forum and there was a little bit of interest. There are a few guys using it now. In a sign of good faith and to prove I wasn't.a spammer, I donated a few pounds to their site, which got me thinking..

If I did do the email thing, I could set up an affiliate program with some of these forums and communities to help with their running costs. It'd help with my advertising and if they got $5 for every new account, I'm sure it would be a worthwhile revenue stream for them.
