Here's the question:

What is the strangest thing that has happened to you in the domain world? Here is mine:

I sold a domain once, for $xx in an auction. I received the money, remember pushing the domain to the new owner, and forgot about it. Over a year later it showed up again in my account with this registrar. By now, I had lost the info for the buyer. I waited a few months, then listed it at Sedo. I sold it again for mid $xxx!
I don't know how these things happen. I felt bad for the buyer, but at the same time I felt he didn't take care of his business.
What was your experience?

Frank

I advised a domainer on a particular deal. A trade involving several domain names. Days later I'm sitting at a poker table (randomly) and meet the other person involved in that trade.

Due to the conversation, the other party (who I met at the poker table) was upset about the deal and information that I had, demanded the domain name back and the trade canceled (after the fact).

Sometimes it truly is a small and bizzare world.
