What is meant by LLL domains ?

I have seen a lot about LLL domains. Can some one explain in detail that what is meant by it.

LLL stands for 3 (Three) letters domains ... Like dgh.com , wef.com , ggr.com , etc..

each l represents a letter (a-z).

examples of lll.coms: aaa.com, abc.com, cda.com, etc...

 

[bocajohnh]

each l represents a letter (a-z).

And a Letter only, not a number or a hyphen or other CHARACTER.

Examples of NOT LLL.com; A-B.com, A12.com, A0C.com [A ZERO C], etc.
