Here comes a real newbie question - LLL?

What is an LLL domain? At first I thought it just meant a domain with only 3 letters in its name, but I see there are also nnn domains which are apparently different...

I'm admin at a popular forum, but I never hear of LLL before. :cy:

LLL = 3 Letters, yes your right. (ex abc.com)
NNN = 3 Numbers (ex 123.com)
CCC = 3 Letters and Numbers (ex 0aw.com)

Other common acronyms

NLN = Number Letter Number (1a2.com)
LNL = Letter Number Letter (a1b.com)
NNL = Number Number Letter (12a.com)
LLN = Letter Letter Number (ab1.com)

To clarify even more:

N=number
L=letter
CCC.com- In this case, C= character

CVCV.com - In this case:
c=consonant
v=vowel
