I do understand if you bid your own name, it's a fake, unfortunately some people do this through friend or some other way. I got an email from sedo tell me I some body bid one of my names. Another email after that telling the bid was fake. Is that means the bidder never finished submitting his/her info's. Can any body help me to understand this. Thanks

People will sometimes bid without the intention of buying. Some people do it to drive up the price of their own domain (aka shill bidding). Others do it just to see what the domain registrant would be willing to sell for.

Bottom line is that that some bidders never have an intention to go through with the purchase of the domain. It sounds like the person bidding on your domain was being an idiot and had no intention of purchasing the domain.

On Sedo, I've had a few bids made by individuals never intending to buy, and some that were attempting to launder stolen credit card money, effectively.

Typically has been Indian-based individuals trying to purchase something using stolen CC#'s that is easily shipped, and hard for the aggrieved to regain control of.
