Hope that helps .. its a great tool for your bookmarks so you dont get caught out.

It can be very easy to spoof site PR to lure unsuspecting buyers to purchase a domain or anchor text links on a site.

So it is always worth checking the validity of PR. Spoofing the PR is achieved when offending domain name uses a 301 or 302 redirects that point their sites to sites with a high Pagerank.

This tool shows you the true .. site with the PR if it is fake or verifys it for you.

I use http://www.database-search.com/sys/pre-check-en.php and think it is the most reliable plus it shows where the actual PR comes from.

This one shows it's fake.
